Please join our team of conservation partners and learn the responsibilities of a project manager or easement specialist to complete a conservation easement. Regional experts will provide the basic information to identify the required documents, transactions, expenses, and stewardship activities plus how to manage partner and landowner expectations. A comparison of easement funding programs with application steps will be discussed. Day one will be a presentation of various project components followed by Day Two of field application.

Who should attend? Private individuals with a formal background in biology, range management, soil science, etc., who want to learn more about how to execute a project application for a conservation easement and become an independent contractor for conservation organizations in Kansas.
